Abstract :Finike is located on south of the Beydağları in west Mediterranean region. As in the past and stili today depending on the natural characteristics and mainly on climatical conditions, site of settlements, economical and cultural developments have taken place on this region. Limyra and Arykanda are mainly ancient cities in surroundings of the Finike. Finike has typical Mediterranean climate that characterises with hot summer and warm winter seasons. Annual mean temperature is 18.7 °C in the Finike, hovvever, temperature decrease on high areas of the Beydağları. On the other hand, annual precipitation is 928.6 mm in the Finike coastal plain but higher on mountainous area. Finike is a famous orange producer and became well-known touristic center with these climatical conditions.
