Abstract :This study aimed to examine mothers\\\' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding antibiotic use in terms of age and education status variables. In line with this objective, the study was conducted using a descriptive survey model. The study group consisted of the mothers of 355 students attending Kırşehir High School in Kırşehir Province; data were collected using a questionnaire developed by the researchers. The collected data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and Chi-Square statistics with the SPSS 23.0 program, and the findings were discussed in conjunction with the literature. Accordingly, considering the negative effects of antibiotic resistance on both the national economy and individual health, it is recommended based on the findings of this study that awareness campaigns on rational drug and antibiotic use should be continuous and needs-based.Keywords : Rational antibiotic use, Knowledge, Attitude and behavior, Parent, Age, Educational
