Abstract :the practical sub-area of psychology of religion. It is developed and instituonalized by Anton T.Boisenin in 1930 ths. Pastoral psychology takse place in the border of clinical psychology andspritual guidance. For this reason, pastoral psychology connects religious psychological approachesand theological approaches. In this article, it has been inquired with regard to pastoral psychologythe answers for these questions; what is the pastoral psychology? How does it applied in Europe. Inaddition to this, it is presented one practical pastoral psychological example from Turkey
