Abstract :Changes in the world climate and population growth have brought along many problems. It is expected that resources such as water and energy will be used consciously, and individuals will be conscious about this issue. In this respect, the concept of sustainability, which means the careful use of existing resources and the protection of resources for the future, comes to the fore. Sustainability and sustainable development, while meeting the needs of today, necessitate taking into account the living conditions and environmental values of future generations, and creating healthy living environments for people in the environment-economy-technology relationship to be established to ensure this. Sustainability is one of the main policy issues at both national and international level today. Many international organizations invite states to take responsibility and cooperate for the development of sustainable development. Within the framework of these developments, the development of the way of thinking and behavior related to sustainable life in students has become one of the current aims of education. Taking these into consideration, this section provides information on both sustainability and sustainable education and practices.
