Abstract :Problem of the Study: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between phone addiction and cyberloafing in business life, to see its effect on work and to set an example for taking precautions. Is there a relationship between nomophobia behavior and cyberloafing behavior in health organizations? Does this relationship differ according to the variables examined in the study? Purpose of the Study: The aim of this study was to conduct research on healthcare professionals to determine whether there is a significant relationship between nomophobia and cyberloafing. Method: \\\"Simple Random Sampling\\\" method was used. In the study, the 30-item Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) developed by Yildirim and Correira in the form of a 7-point Likert scale and the five-point Likert scale created by Lim (2002) and developed through Henle and Blanchard (2008) were used to measure individuals\\\' smartphone addictions. The scale, which was adapted into Turkish by Örücü and Yıldız (2014) with its validity and reliability, consists of 20 questions at a level that can measure cyberloafing behaviors in a significant and insignificant two-factor structure. Cronbach\\\'s alpha coefficient was determined as 0.88. The scale consists of 12 items. It is a five-point Likert type. Results and Conclusions: 324 public and 165 private sector health workers participated in the study. In the statistical analysis, Cronbach\\\'s Alpha Value was found to be = 0.97 for all survey questions. As a result of the research, the effect of nomophobia on cyberloafing in the workplace of employees in the field of health did not vary according to age, marital status, gender, but it varied according to professions and a significant difference was found. In the study, it was found that there was a significant difference between occupation and work intensity and the rate of job shirking. In another study, it was found that although there was no difference in the scores of internet dependency status according to gender and age variables, there was a difference in terms of the habitual intensity of the smartphone and the time of starting to use the smartphone.
