Abstract :The paper obtains a lower bound on   insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=n 1 +n 2 , k); linear code over GFinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(q); that corrects all solid burst error of length b 1 or less in the first block of length n 1 and all solid burst error of length b 2 or less in the second block of length n 2 .  Further, the author studies these codes over GFinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2); that are optimal in a specific sense and gives  a sufficient condition for the existence of such codes.
