Abstract :In this study, Janka-Hardness of fast grown Douglas-fir Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco] were investigated. All trees used for experiments were obtained from Ayancık and samples were then prepared in accordance with the related standards. Consequently, the average janka hardness was found as 280.983 kg/cm2  An increasing relationship between specific gravity and janka hardness values was determined.
