Abstract :ÖZET Jüvenil diabetes mellitus zemininde gelişmiş mucormycosis nedeni ile burun ve sert damak nekruzu gösteren bir vakamızda bir burun epitezi ve obturator uygulaması yaptık. Epitezin tutuculuğu için gözlükten istifade etmek yerine ağız içi protezi ile yaptığımız bir bağlantıdan yararlandık. SUMMARY In our patient there was destruction of the nose, palate and lips due to mucormycosis associated with diabetes mellitus. Mucormycosis is a fungal infection of the lungs, central nervous system or other parts of the body caused by various members of Phycomocetes and is rarely diagnosed before death. We have constructed a nose epithese and an obturator for our patient. Instead of using glasses for the retantion of the epithese we have made an artificial connection of epithese with the obturator.
