Abstract :H. 1288 (M. 1872) tarihinde Mersin'de doğan Cemal Paşa, Mersin’in tanınmış ailelerinden olup, babası belediye başkanlığı yapmış olan Osman Efendi'dir. Bahriye Nazırı ve İttihatçı Cemal Paşa'dan ayırmak için "Küçük Cemal" adı ile de anılır.
