Abstract :One of the idioms used in the Köl Tigin and Kül İ č Č or is oplayu tägmäk . Until now, researchers have proposed different origins and explanations for this idiom. We think that the verb opla - came from Mongolian stem ob . The opla - has denominal verbal suffix {+lA-} that is common in Turkish and Mongolian. It is known ‘Turan Tactic/Bozqır Tactic’ as war strategy in Old Turkic history.
