Abstract :SUMMARY COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY OF THE MEDİASTİNAL MASSES: 53 CASES In this study, CT findings of 53 patients with mediastinal masses diagnosed between 1986 and 1988 were evaluated. Of these patients, 22 cases had lymphadenopathy, 8 cases had retrosternal goiter, 7 cases had esophagus tumor, 4 cases had thymoma, 3 cases had thymus hyperplasia, 4 cases had epypericardial fat pad, 1 case had pericardial cyst 3 cases had aortic aneurysms and 1 case had rhabdomyosarcoma. ÖZET Bu çalışmada, 3986 ile 1988 tarihleri arasında mediastinal kitle ön tanısı alan 53 hastanın BT bulguları incelendi. Bunlardan 22 sinde lenfadenopati, 8 inde retrosternal guatr, 7`sinde özefagus tümörü, 4`ünde timoma, 3`ünde timus hiperplazisi, 4`ünde epiperikardial yağ yastıkçığı, 1`inde perikardial kist, 3`ünde aort anevrizması ve 1 inde rabdomyosarkom izlendi. Mediastinal kitlelerle ilgili BT litera¬türü gözden geçirildi.
