Abstract :Tuberculosis In a Patient With Behcet`s Disease Using Cyclosporin -A ✓ If conventional therapy is ineffective in the treatment of Behcet`s disease with oculer lesions, it is possible to get success with cyclosporin -A theraphy. The most known side effect of cyclosporin-A that is a selective immunosupressive agent, is nephrotoxicity. It is accepted that enfection and malignancy risks increase during immunotherapy. In this study pulmoner tuberculosis which occurred during the treatment of Behcet`s disease with cyclosporin A, is reported. In our country`s conditions, because of the developing risk of tuberculosis and the other infection diseases increase during immunosupressive theraphy, these patients is needed to examine carefully. ✓ Göz tutulumu olan Behçet Hastalarında konvansiyonel tedaviden yanıt alınamayan olgularda Siklosporin-A ile iyi sonuçlar alınabilmektedir. Selektif bir immünosupressif ajan olan Siklosporin-A`nm bilinen en önemli yan etkisi nefrotoksisitedir. immünosupressif tedavi sırasında enfeksiyon ve malignansi riskinin arttığı kabul edilir. Bu yazıda Siklosporin-A tedavisi başlanan Behçet Hastası olgusunda ortaya çıkan akciğer tüberkülozu rapor edildi. Ülkemiz koşullarında immünosupressif tedavi sırasında tüberküloz ve diğer enfeksiyon hastalıkları gelişimi açısından yakın izlem gerekliliği vurgulandı.
