Abstract :In this report, a case of prolonged apnea produced by a high dose of succinylcholine in a one month old baby who was given anaesthesia for a rectal biopsy, is presented. When dose dependent prolonged apnea has been occured, the emphasised procedure is to white patienthy and antagonise after observing the transmission. The followed procedure has been compared with the other studies. Bu makalede, rektal biyopsi amacıyla operasyona alman ve yüksek doz süksinilkolin kullanılan bir aylık bebekte gelişen uzamış apne olgusu sunulmuştur. Doza bağımlı uzamış apne geliştiğinde, takip edilecek yöntemin sabırla beklemek ve iletimin başlandığım gördükten sonra antagonize etmek olduğu vurgulanmıştır. İzlediğimiz yöntem diğer çalışmalarla karşılaştırılmıştır
