Abstract :The Treatment of Resistant Chironic ITP in Childhood With megadose Methylpred-nisolone and Intravenous Immunoglobuline The treatment of refractory ITP cases is a problem, especially when bleeding occurs. Aggressive treatment modalities such as splenectomy and cytotoxic chemotherapy have been used. We introduced two chronic ITP cases unresponsive to mega dose methylprednisolone insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(30 mg/kg/day); and IVIG insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(0.5 g/kg/day); alone, responsive to the combina¬tion of full dosage of MDMP plus IVIG together. Our cases suggest that the full dosage of MDMP insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(100 mg/kg/day); plus IVIG insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(0.5 g/kg/day); can overcome to resistance of ref¬ractory chronic ITP cases to these treatments alone. Refrakter kronik ITP vakalarının tedavisi özellikle kanama ile gelen hastalarda sorun olmaktadır. Splenektomi ve sitotoksik ilaçlar ile tedavi yeni riskler getirmektedir. Tek başına kullanıldıkları zaman mega doz metilprednisolon insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(30 mg/kg/gün); ve İntravenöz immunoglobulin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(0.5 g/kg/gün); tedavilerine dirençli olan, fakat metilprednisolonun dozu 100 mg/kg/gün olacak şekilde artırıldığı ve IVIG ile kombine edilerek kul¬lanıldığı zaman yanıt alınan iki kronik ITP`li çocuğa ait veriler sunulmuştur. Vaka¬larımız, refrakter ITP tedavisinde MDMP ve IVIG kombinasyonunun başarıyla kul-lanılabileceğini düşündürmektedir
