Abstract :Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis t/ Langerhans cell histiocytosis is one of the interesting diseases of this century. More re-search is needed to understand the etiology and physiopathology and to develope more ef¬fective treatment. The disease is characterized by abnormal accumulation or proliferation of the langerhans cells that demonstrated CD1 antigen positivity on the cell membrane. It can be seen in one or more organ and system and present clinical signs of the disease. We thought it`s worth reporting one of the two followed cases because of having long history, developmental retardation, recalcitrant suppurative otitis media and involvement of the lung. Langerhans hücreli histiyositozis yüzyılımızın ilginç hastalıklarından biridir. Etiyolojisinin ve fizyopatolojisinin anlaşılması, daha etkili bir tedavinin yapılması için daha fazla araştırmalara ihtiyaç vardır. Hastalık dokularda, membranında CD1 antijeni pozitif olan langerhans hücrelerinin anormal birikmesi veya çoğalmasıyla karakterizedir. Tek veya birçok organ ve sistemi tutarak bunlara ait klinik bulgular ortaya çıkabilir. Langerhans hücreli histiyositozis tanısıyla izlediğimiz iki olgudan birinde, hikayenin uzun olması, be¬lirgin gelişme geriliğinin ve tedaviye cevap vermeyen süpüratif otitis media ile akciğer tutu¬lumunun olmasından dolayı yayınlamayı uygun gördük.
