Abstract :A fourteen years old patient was admitted to hospital with the complaints of left lower ab-dominal pain and abdominal swelling. She had rnenstruel periods since one year and had dysmenorrhea.Diagnosis was made by rectal bimanuel examination, intravenous pyelog-raphy and ultrasonography. About 500 cc hematocolpos and hematometra was drained by means of hymen oto my and vaginal septum excision after the confirmation of the diag-nosis by diagnostic laparotomy. Sol kasık ağrısı ve karında şişme şikayeti ile kliniğimize başvuran hasta. 14 yaşında idi, bir yıldır adet görüyordu, sorgulamasında adetlerinin sancılı olduğu anlaşıldı. Yapılan rektal tuşe, intravenöz piyelografi ve ultrasonografi ile tanı konuldu. Tanının laparotomi ile doğrulanmasının ardından himenotomi ve vaginal septum eksizyonu yapılarak 500 cc hematokolpos ve hematometra boşaltıldı.
