Abstract :Sexually Transmitted Diseases Associated with Urethritis and Cervicitis Sexually transmitted diseases insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(STDs); are the most frequenüy reported bacterial infections in the west countries. Non-specific symptoms and signs such as urinary tract infection, urethral or vaginal discharge, pelvic pain and genital ulcers In healthy sexually active young people should remind STDs. Examination and treatment of the sexual partners of the patients with STDs are essential to prevent reinfection, to prevent complications in sexual partners, and to limit spread of the disease in the community. Cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklar batı toplumlarında en sık rapor edilen bakteriyel in-feksiyonlardır. Ayrıca 50`den fazla organizm ve sendromun cinsel yolla bulaştığı saptanmıştır. Bu infeksiyonların uzun dönem komplikasyonlarım infertilite, ektopik gebelik, infant morbiditeleri ve ölümleri, düşükler, birçok tümör ve kazanılmış immün yetmezlik sendromu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(AİDS); oluşturmaktadır. Üriner infeksiyon, genital bölgelerde cilt döküntüleri, erkekte üretral akıntı, kadında vajinal akınü ve pelvik ağrı gibi nonspesifik yalanmalar cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıkları akla getirmeli ve olgular bu yönde de incelenmelidir. Reİnfeksiyon ve komplikasyonların önlenmesi ve hastalığın toplumda yayılmasının sınırlanması için cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklı olguların seksüel partnerlerinin muayene ve tedavisi esastır.
