Abstract :Contact Lenses: Physical Features of Materials and Types It is known that contact lens material and its suitability for patient on practice influences succesfull of fitting. Theraby, generally definition of the features of contact lens material and prefering is necessary for a good contact lens fitting. We have aimed evaluation of general features and types of contact lens materials and oxygen performance in this rewiev. Kontakt lens uygulamalarında seçilecek lens materyalinin özelliklerinin ve hastaya uygunluğunun tedavinin başarısını etkilediği bilinmektedir. Bu nedenle iyi bir uygulama için genel olarak kontakt lens materyal özelliklerinin iyi tanımlanması ve seçim yapılması gerekmektedir. Biz bu yazımızda uygulamalardaki temel bilgilere ışık tutması amacıyla kontakt lens materyallerinin genel özellikleri ve uygulamadaki en önemli faktör olan oksijen performansı ile ilgili ögeleri incelemeyi amaçladık
