Abstract :As parallel to developments in the world, chemical use against to sun pest has been banned since 2006 due to the problems faced, i.e. negative impacts on environment, when using agricultural plane. Survey study was conducted in the sixty agricultural holdings in order to determining equipment and material of sprayers and the process of determining how the actions of farmers. This study has been performed in the villages located within the towns of Siverek, Viranşehir and Hilvan in Şanlıurfa city, where sunn pest damage is commonly applied. In this study, field sprayers used sunn pest spraying were evaluated related to years in terms of the tank strainer, nozzle filters, hose connections and strength, pressure regulator, manometer, pump leakage, nozzle and boom connection, and tank cracken. According to the results obtained in this study curvature and irregularities over the width of the sprayer boom were detected on sprayer boom in 33.33 % of field sprayers. In addition, less and more spraying leakage, cracks and faults have been identified in the hose and hose connection points in 38.33 % of field sprayers.
