Abstract :Finansal tablolar yoluyla yatırımcılara sunulan bilgilerin, hisse senedi fiyatlarına etkisi konusunda yapılan çalışmalarda, genellikle muhasebe kârları ve kâr paylarının bilgi içeriklerinin incelendiği görülmektedir. Ancak son yıllarda, hisse senedi fiyatlarından hareketle kâr ve kâr payı rakamlarının öngörüldüğü çalışmaların literatürde oldukça benimsendiği gözlenmektedir. İMKB’de işlem gören şirketler üzerinde yaptığımız araştırmanın sonucunda, fiyatların bilgi içeriğinin, imalat sektörüne kıyasla mali sektörde daha fazla olduğu ve kâr paylarının fiyatların oluşumuna etkisinin imalat sektöründe daha belirgin olduğu tespit edilmiştir   In the research concerning the level of the effect produced by the information provided to investors through financial statements on share prices it is generally observed that information contents of earnings and dividends are examined. But in recent years, studies concerning the estimation of eanrirgs and dividends by using share prices (information content of prices) are highly accepted. As a result of the analysis based on firms which are traded in ISE, it is found out that information content of the prices is more in the financial sector compared to the manufacturing sector and the effect of dividends on formulation of the prices is more in the manufacturing sector.
