Abstract :Özet: Bu makalede, çeşitli folklor türleri üzerinde yapısal çözümlemelerin denenmesineimkân sağlayan, V. Propp'un, folklorun önemli türlerinden biri olan masallarda yeralan fonksiyonların tespitlerini ortaya koyduğu metodu, on Erzurum türküsüne uygulanaraktürkü formu üzerine bir uygulama denemesi yapılmıştır. Türkülerde tekrar edenezgiler tespit edilerek, Erzurum türkülerinin genel ezgi yapısı ile ilgili motif ölçeğinde birdeğerlendirme yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Erzurum Türküleri, Kerem ayağı, Propp metodu, türkü Abstract: A practice trail was conducted on ballads form where Propp's method, whichallows form analysis to be tested on various kinds of folklore and realises proves offunctions in fables which are crucial kinds of folklore, being applied on ten Erzurumballads.An evulation was tried to be made about the common form and the character of melodysung in Kerem ayağı by defining the distribution of the melody forms and melodies,repeated in ballads.Keywords: Erzurum ballads, Kerem Ayağı, Propp's metot
