Abstract :This study investigates the relationships among strategic leadership (SL), emotional intelligence (EI), and job performance (JP) exclusively within the healthcare sector. Drawing on contemporary literature (2020–2025) and original empirical data collected from 320 healthcare professionals, the study applies advanced analytical techniques, including structural equation modeling (SEM), mediation, moderated mediation (PROCESS Model 7), and latent moderated structural equations (LMS). The results indicate that EI serves as a strong partial mediator between SL and JP, accounting for approximately 49–53% of the total effect. Moreover, the indirect effect of SL on JP through EI is conditionally moderated by gender, age, and professional experience. The strongest mediation effects are observed among female healthcare professionals in mid-career stages (31–40 years; 11–20 years of experience), whereas younger male professionals display a relatively stronger direct leadership effect. By integrating a triple-moderation framework with healthcare-specific evidence, the study advances leadership theory and offers actionable implications for leadership development and talent management in healthcare organizations.
