Abstract :Kütüphaneler her türlü yazılı ve basılı belge ve yayının korunup, gerektiğinde yararlanılması için yapılmış yapılardır. Erzurum'da bu yapıları incelerken, olayın tarihi seyrini göz önüne aldık. Türklerin Anadolu'yu fethiyle başlayan imar faaliyetlerinde, yazılı kültürün saklandığı kitapların günümüze kadar nasıl ulaşabildiğinin öyküsünü çıkarmak istedik. Bu vesileyle Selçuklulardan, İlhanhlara, Beylikler döneminden Osmanhlara ve nihayet günümüz Türkiye'sine kadar uzanan bir kitaphk öyküsü. AB8TRACT Libraries are places where written manuscripts and books of all sorts are kept and can be used when needed. While examining these structures in Erzurum we also considered the history ofthem. We tried to narrate the story of libraries constructed after the canguest of Anatolia by the Turks. it is the narration of libraries from the Seldjukians, İlhans, Ottomans to contemporary Turkey.
