Abstract :ÖZET Türkler'in anavatanı Türkistan, denizlere uzak idi. TUrkler ilk defa Selçuklular zamanında Anadolu'da bÜyUk denizlere ulaşmışlar ve denizcilik faaliyetlerine başlamışlardır. Planlı ve teşkilAtlı denizcilik yapan ilk Türk bÜyilgü Çaka Bey'dir. Daha sonra Anadolu Selçukluları da Antalya, Alaiye ve Sinop'u fethederek Akdeniz ve Karadeniz'de düzenli ve devamlı denizcilik faaliyetinde bulunmuşlardır. ABSTRACT Turkestan, the homeland of the Turks, was far away from the sea. It was with the Seldjuqids that the Turks in Anatotia were able to reach to the seas and began naval activities. Çaka Bey was the first Turkish admiral to organize the planned maritime. The Anatolian Seldjukids, who conquered Antalya, Alaiye and Sinop, carried out permanent and organized nava! activities in the Mediterranean and the Pontus Euxinos.
