Abstract :ÖZET Tüm Türk dünyasında olduğu gibi Şahsenem Garip hikâyesi Türkmenistan’da bilinir ve sevilir. Bu yüzden hikâyenin varyantlarının yanı sıra Garip’in maceraları ortaya çıkar. Bu maceralarda Garip genellikle Şahsenem dışında bir kızla evlenir. Bu çalışmada Sahsenem Garip’in en yaygın Türkmen varyantı ile Garip’in bir macerası olan Helalay Garip, epizotlarına göre mukayese edilecektir. Therefore it is possible to encounter not only the variants of the story but also the adventures of Garip in Turkmenistan. In this study, the most common Turkmen variant of Şahsenem Garip and Helalay Garip, one of Garip’s adventures, are compared in accordance with their episodes.
