Abstract :Öz Bu makalede, sözlü kültürümüzün önemli bir bölümünü oluşturan ağıt, kına ağıtları ve çeşitli sosyal sebeplerle söylenmiş ağıtlar olmak üzere, iki alt başlık altında ele alınmıştır. Özellikle gelin ağıtları üzerinde durulmuş, bu bağlamda gelin ağıtlarının öznesi olarak kadın ve sosyal konumu, ağıt türünün imkânları içinde değerlendirilmiştir. Anahtar Sözcükler: Gelin, sözlü kültür, ağıt, kına Abstract In this article, wailing having a great place in our oral culture has been studied in two subordinate headlines as henna wailings told due to varied social reasons. It has been given a particular importance to bride wailings. In this consept, woman as a subject of bride wailings and her social condition have been appreciated within the possibilities of wailing genre. Key Words: Bride, oral culture, wailing, henna
