Abstract :ÖZET : Hızlı büyüme ve üreme yeteneği, yemi ete çevirme etkinliğinin yüksekliği, kısa sürede beyaz et niteliğinde kırmızı et üretimi ile deri ve tüyleri gibi kıymetli ürünlere sahip olması nedeniyle devekuşu yetiştiriciliği, 1980’li yıllardan itibaren gerek dünya gerekse ülkemizde yeni bir hayvansal üretim kolu olarak önemli atılımlar yapmıştır. Devekuşu yetiştiriciliği hakkında doğan bilgi talebini kısmen de olsa karşılamak amacıyla hazırlanan bu çalışmada devekuşlarının ürünleri bakım ve beslenmeleri hakkında bazı bilgiler sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. The Ostrich Breeding and Their Products ABSTRACT : The breeding of ostrich has been a new animal branche because of its high weight gain, reproduction ability and feed conversion rate to red meat in short time, and valuable products such as leather an feather ın world and Turkey since 1980s.
