Abstract :ÖZET Bu çalışmada Erzurum ve çevresinde izole edilen EseherieMa eoli (Ecali) suşlarmın, sorolojik ve biyokimyasal öze'llikleri tetkık edilerek, muhitte yaygın olan patojen serotipleri bulunmuş ve bunlarm elde edildikleri oıjinlere göre dağılımları incelenmiştir. E. eoli suşları hasta insan ve hayvanların dışkılarından, süt ve içme sularından izole edilmişlerdir. Serolojik muayenelerde, hayvanlar için patojen olarak bilinen 14 ve insanlarda enteropatojenik olan 10" E coli serotipine karşı, intemasyonel laboratuvarlarea hazırlanmış, O ve K antiserumları kullanılmıştır. Bu deneyler lam ve tüp aglutinasyonu metodları ile gerçekleştirilmişlerdir. Kaynak olarak alman üç ayrı orjinden 505 numune tetkik edilm~', bunların 202 sinden E.eoli ıZolasyonları yapılmıştır. Her numuneden 3-5 suş gerekli testlere tabi tutulmuş ve toplam olarak 864 Ecali suşu üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Bunlardan da 200 ünün aranan patojen serotiplere ait oldukları görülmiiştür. Hayvan orjinli numune/erde Ol i 9:BI4, 078 :K80, O137:K79, 015: K14, 08:B41, 086:B7, 055:B5, 09:K9, OI03:K. serotipleri, insan orjinlilerde 011l:B4, 086:B7, 055:B5, OlI9:B14, 026:B6, 015:K14 ve 09:K9 serotipleri, içme sularında ise 01l9:B14, 078:K80, 086:B7 ı'e 026 :B6 serotiplerine raslanılmıştır. SUMMARY STUDIES ON THE PATHOGENIC SEROTYPES OF E. COLI STARINS ISOLATED FROM ERZURUM AREA In this researchwork, a total of 864 E.eoli strains isolated from three orgins (I- Human diseases, 2- Animal diseases and milk, 3- Drinking water) have been studies and discussed serologicaJ1y and biochemically. 14 E. eoli antisera, pathogenic for animals and ıo E. eoli antiresem, enteropathogenic for men were used for the serological determinations. Of the total 864 E. eoli strains 200 were observed as pathogenic E. col! strains. From the animal origin, a total of 363 E. coli strai ns were examined and ıo! of them were typed as OL 19:B14 (34 %), 078:K80 (23 %), 0137:K79 (16 %), OI5:KI4 (8%), 08:K41 (5 %), 086:B7 (5 %), 055: B5 (% 4), 09:K9 (3 'Ya) and 0103:K(3 %). No other research has been done re1ated to aniınal pathogenic E. coli From the human origin, a total of 315 E. eoli strains were studied and 68 strains were found pathogical strains. They were typed as 0111 :B4 (30 %), 086:B7 (19 %), 055:B5 (14 ~<,), 0119:B14 (14%), 026:B6 (9 'Ya), 015: KI4 (9 %), and 09:K9 (4 %). The existcnce of the above path0genic serotypes in Turkey, except 015:K14 and 09:K9 were found by some researchers. From the drinking water samples, ,) a total of 186 E.eali strains wcre cxamined and 30 strains were typed as OL 19:B14 (60 %), 078:K80 (20 %), 026:B6 (10 %a) and 086:B7 (10 %).Keywords :
