Abstract :Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a product prepared from a person\\\'s own blood in the form of platelet-enriched plasma and used to stimulate and regulate healing in many areas of medicine. This study aimed to bibliometrically evaluate articles published in the field of PRP. 5741 articles published on the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection between 1980 and 2024 were analyzed using text mining and bibliometric methods using machine learning techniques. The WoS Reporting Page, the InCites Report Page, the R Bibliyometrix Package Biblioshiny library, the Python Scikit-learn library for LDA Analysis, the VosViewer package, the Microsoft Excel program, the Oracle Database, and the SQL Query language tools were used. Türkiye ranks fourth in research in the relevant field with 378 articles (6.58%), following the USA, China and Italy. 5741 research articles were published in 1432 different journals and a total of 97584 works were cited in these 5741 articles, with a total of 141229 citations for the relevant publications, with an average citation value of 24.60 per article. The top three research areas most frequently associated with articles on PRP are \\\"orthopedics, surgery, dentistry and oral surgery.\\\" In recent years, the topics of \\\"orthodontic tooth movement, low-level laser therapy, exosomes, pregnancy, and endometrium\\\" have become prominent. PRP therapy is used in many different areas, including tissue healing, wound healing, pain management, and cartilage repair. A text mining study found that articles in the field were clustered into eight different groups: “PRP therapy and cellular regeneration, orthopedic treatment applications of PRP, the use of PRP in osteoarthritis and joint diseases, the effect of PRP on wound and skin healing, PRP and autologous treatment methods, bone and tissue healing with PRP, the effect of PRP on tissue and wound healing, platelet activation, and the role of PRP in cardiovascular rehabilitation.”. In recent years, prominent topics in the literature on PRP include PRP – PRF differences, factors affecting healing and tissue repair, in vitro PRP studies, musculoskeletal injuries, wound healing, and dental treatments.
