Abstract :Architectural representation is a fundamental part of architecture. Architectural representation is not merely a tool used to convey architectural ideas; it is also a multi-layered phenomenon that can be approached in terms of the cultural, technological, and social dimensions of architecture. Therefore, revealing the trends in academic production in this field is of critical importance for future research. This study aims to identify trends and potential research gaps in the field by examining international publications on architectural representation in the Web of Science (WoS) database using bibliometric analysis methods. Bibliometric analyses in the study were performed using the Bibliometrix program and included the distribution of publications in the field of architectural representation by year, the distribution of publications by country, sources’ production over time, trend topics, thematic map, and co-occurrence network analysis. The findings reveal that four main topics stand out in architectural representation studies: the design process, design education, digital technologies, and cultural heritage. However, a lack of studies focusing on the relationship between architectural representation and spatial experience was identified. By identifying current trends and potential research gaps related to architectural representation, the study provides a guiding framework for future academic research.
