Abstract :Bu çalışmada İzmir İli merkezi ve çevresinin Ciğerotu florasının son durumu araştırılmıştır. Çalışma alanı Henderson kareleme sistemine göre B6 karede yer almaktadır. Gerçekleştirilen arazi çalışmalarında Marchantiopsida (Hepaticae) sınıfına bağlı 17 familyaya ait 19 ciğerotu türüne rastlanmıştır. Bunlardan 5 tanesinin (Sphaerocarpos texanus Austin, Lophocolea heterophylla (Schrad.) Dumort., Jungermannia atrovirens Dumort., Cephaloziella hampeane (Nees) Schiffn. ve Lejeunea lamacerina (Steph.) Schiffn.) İzmir İli için yeni kayıt özelliği taşıdığı anlaşılmıştır.
