Abstract :Öz : Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin komşularından biri olan Gürcistan’ın eğitim sistemi ve coğrafya öğretimi tanıtılmıştır. Araştırmada özellikle, Gürcistan’da eğitimin genel yapısı, okullar, öğretmenler, öğrenciler ve eğitimdeki yenilikler veya reformlar gibi önemli hususlarla ilgili bilgiler yer almaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma deseni kullanılarak doküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Çalışma evrenini Gürcistan eğitim sistemi ve Gürcistan’da uygulanmakta olan coğrafya öğretim programı oluşturmaktadır. In the study, there is information especially about important aspects such as the structure of education in Georgia, schools, teachers, students and innovations or reforms in education. In the study document analysis was done by using qualitative research pattern. The study groups are composed of Georgia education system and geography education program which are examined in Georgia.
