Abstract :Özet: Bu araştırmanın amacı, Sakarya ilinde tedavi ve denetimli serbestlik tedbiriuygulamalarının etkililiğini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini, 276 kişioluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri, 2009 yılında Sakarya Denetimli Serbestlik ve YardımMerkezi Şube Müdürlüğünde, tedavi ve denetimli serbestlik tedbirine tabi olan 90 kişiyeuygulanan anket sorularıyla elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan anket formu, araştırmacıtarafından geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmada toplanılan veriler, nicel ve nitel analiz teknikleriile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda uyuşturucu veya uyarıcı madde kullanımınınnedenleri daha çok sıkıntıdan kurtulma ve arkadaş ortamından kaynaklandığıgörülmektedir. Tedavi ve denetimli serbestlik tedbirinin uygulamasının suçu önlemedeetkili olduğu, uygulamadan yararlanan kişilere olumlu faydalar sağladığı görülmüştür.Anahtar Kelimeler: Tedavi ve denetimli serbestlik tedbiri, uyuşturucu madde kullanma Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate the affects of treatment andprobation in Sakarya. The nature of the study consists of, 276 people. For this purpose,in the 2009 the survey was applied to 90 person\` who is in Sakarya Prabation andHelp Central Department. The survey that was used in the research was developed byinvestigator. The collected data was analysed by using with quantitative and qualitativeanalaysis technigues. The participats explained that the reason of drug and stimulantwere because of getting rid of trouble and negative friendship.
