Abstract :A prominent scientist-philologist of the twentieth century I. T. Duisenbaev, in addition to works on the history of literature, is known also for his works on the national folklore. He prepared and published the first in national folklore a scientific publication, devoted to the epos `Kozy Korpesh – Bayan Sulu`. As a result of hard work resistance he sought out, studied and introduced into scientific circulation the earliest recorded epos insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1834, 1841, 1864);. In the process of preparing scientific publications, he spent a large amount of textual works on the comparative study of variants and versions of the immortal folk of the monument.
