Abstract :Bu çalışmada, monotipik bir cins olan Diptychocarpus Trautv. Brassicaceae/Cruciferae Türkiye`den B9 Van ilk defa kaydedilmiştir. Diptychocarpus strictus Fisch. ex M.Bieb. Trautv.’un tanıtıcı özellikleri betimlenmiş ve gösterilmiştir. Coğrafi dağılımı haritalanmış ve bu türün bölgesel ölçekte koruma statüsü tartışılmıştır
