Abstract :Düzyazõlarõnda “Ece Ovalõ” takma adõnõ kullanan Arif Damar, Çanakkale’nin yetiştirdiği önemli sanatçõlardan biridir. Henüz 15 yaşõndayken yazdõğõ toplumcu gerçekçi çizgide şiirlerle adõnõ duyurmuş, bu akõmõn önde gelen temsilcilerinden biri olmuştur. İlk şiirini yayõmladõğõ 1940’tan bugüne sanat yaşamõnõ işçiliği titiz şiirleriyle sürdürmektedir
