Abstract :Social security is a universal need from the first human being to teh present day. In todays world all the countries from the most developed one to the least developed one have a sufficient or insufficient social security system.From this aspect, social security is one of the indispensable components of being a modern state and independent country.It is very crucial to know the differences and similarities as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the social security systems between the EU and Turkey . The main aim of this study is to reassess the Turkish Social Security System according to the last developments in Turkey and the structure of EU
