Abstract :Haptic interfaces and assistive technologies are improving for visually impaired individuals. In line with these efforts, this paper describes the design, working and implementation of a wearable haptic feedback glove incorporated with a robotic arm to guide the user’s hand in the court. The glove is lightweight, inexpensive and includes coin vibration motors that give vibratory feedback, which describes the direction of the ball. The system was tested on five participants. The participants gave positive feedback regarding the design and the overall experience was good. They recommended the system because it is easy-to-use.
