Abstract :Özet Bu çalışmada, 8-12 yaşlar arasında 265 kız, 313 erkek toplam 578 çocuğun klinik inceleme yöntemi ile kapanış özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Materyal grubu çekimli insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n:88); ve çekimsiz vakalar insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n:490); olarak iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Tüm bireylerin ön-arka yön kapanış ilişkisi Angle sınıflamasına göre belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra Angle 1., 2. ve 3. sınıf bireyler diğer kapanış özelliklerine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Çekimsiz grubu {A grubu); oluşturan bireylerin 25\`i insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%5.10); normal kapanış, 369\`u insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%75.30); Angle l.smıf, 54\`ü insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%11.02); Angle 2. smıf, 42\`si insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%8.57); Angle 3. smıf; çekimli grubu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(B grubu); oluşturan bireylerin ise 62\`si insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%70.45); Angle Lsınıf, 15\`i insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%17.4); Angle 2.sımf f U\`i insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%12.50); Angle 3. sıraf ilişki göstermiştir. A grubunda Angle 1., 2. ve 3. sınıf kapanıştı kız ve erkek çocukların dağılımları arasında istatistiksel düzeyde anlamlı fark bulunamamıştır. Abstract In the present study, occlusal characteristics of the 578 children insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(265girls and 313 boys); aged 8 to 12 years were investigated. The sample was divided into txvo subgroups and categorized as extraction and nonextraction cases. First of all, the antero-pasterior tooth relationships were determined according to the Angle\`s classification. In these groups other occlusal characteristics were also investigated. Among the nonextraction cases, 25 children insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5.10%); showed normal occlusion, 369 children insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(75.30%); showed Angle Class 1,54 children insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(11.02%); showed Angle Class II and 42 diildren insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(8,57%); showed Angle Class III occlusion. Among the extraction cases, 62 children insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(70.45%); showed Angle Class 1,15 children insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(17.04%); showed Angle Class U and 11 children insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(12.50%); showed Angle Class III occlusion. No significant difference was found between the distribution of the girls and boys in the Class I, II and III nonextraction groups. Key words: Angle classification, mixt dentition, occlusion.
