Abstract :Ö Z ET   Kliniğimizde ameliyat edilmiş, oldukça nadir görülen mand íbula sarkomlar ı takdim edilmiştir. Male to female ratio was 11/5. The youngest patient was 9 years old and had fibrosarcoma. The oldest one, 63 had undifferentiated sarcoma. The early symptoms mostly were toothache, numbness in the lower lip, loosening of the tooth, tumor and pain. Ulceration of the tumor and lymph node enlargements were seen in well advanced cases. Definite diagnosis were possible in the majority of cases with preoperative evaluation and biopsy, Panorex ray pictures were very valuable in diagnosing and planing the operation. During the operations X ray pictures of the specimens were taken, to check the lesion and its free borders. K wires and maxillo-mandibular fixations were utilized in suitable cases to stabilize the fragments. Tracheostomy were used electively in two patients, one with total the other with subtotal mandlbulectomy. Primary bone grafting were not used.
