Abstract :ÖZET Bu yazımızda gebelik devresinde dişetlerinde aşırı büyüme gösteren bir vakanın takdimi yapılmıştır. Hasta kliniğimize üçüncü çocuğunu dünyaya getirdikten üç ay sonra başvurmuş ve tedavisine dokuzuncu ayda başlanmıştır. Bu geçen süre içinde hiperemi azaldığı halde hiperplazik dişetierinde bir değişme olmamıştır. Hastaya cerrahi müdahale üç seans halinde uygulanmış ve histopatolojik tanı hiperplazik gingivitis olarak koyulmuştur. SUMMARY A severe hyperplasia of the gums occuring during pregnancy has been eported. The patient referred to our clinic three months postpartum of her third child and the surgical treatment applied after nine months. During this period it is observed that hyperemia decreased while no change in the hyperplasia of the gums occured. The surgical treatment took place in three stages and the histopathological diagnosis is decided to be hyperplastic gingivitis.
