Abstract :In naval architecture, comfort can be defined as the effects of impacts of ship motions, sound and vibration from different sources, heat and humidity on crew members as well. The lexical meaning of comfort is a state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint. Therefore, naval architects should take into account more parameters for comfort of crew member onboard. In this study, the effects of paint colors for interior walls, furniture choice, light distribution for indoor and light source supply, and allocation and aesthetic choice in a furniture selection for crew that feel most comfortable is investigated
