Abstract :Ergonomics is a very important aspect for ships and especially yacht design. This topic has had secondary importance until recent years. Engineering performance of a yacht has improved and aesthetics-comfort as well as ergonomic became more and more important for a yacht design. In the current; work ergonomics is examined as a science and is applied to a case study. A new yacht designed to show importance of ergonomics on yacht comfort and aesthetic. Two other general arrangements of similar yachts were introduced starting from a charter usage up to personal usage in order to the express the meaning of esthetic and comfort.
