Abstract :The purpose of this study is to review the video clip of the song \\\"Don Goyo\\\", performed by the late Colombian singer Gustavo \\\"El Loko\\\" Quintero. We want to evidence, with a critical approach, the ideological traces, imaginaries and visual heritages that were part of its production within the framework of the concept of cultural industry. We seek to explore the traces and clues about the representations of physical (and symbolic) violence in a country that, like Colombia, has experienced prolonged cycles of violence. For this purpose, we retake as a methodology the Hermeneutics of the Deep, proposed by John Thompson. With this purpose, we map the context of production of our object of study according to the guidelines of this methodology, ending with a self-reflective exercise on the interpretative process of the authors to produce this article, as well as the possibilities of this type of work. We also made use of empirical data derived from primary sources, direct observations of the video clip, interviews with various actors such as producers, receivers and experts, and a reading of the comments on YouTube about the video clip and the song. Keywords : Kültür Endüstrisi, Ideoloji, Şiddet, Derin Olanın Hermeneutiği, Popüler Müzik.
