Abstract :Observing possible effects on SMEs resulting from Basel-II Criterias, measuring points of views of SME’s on Basel Criterias constitute the main goal of this research. To what extent do the SMEs carry out Basel standards, economic policies, futures of financial markets and fluctiations in international markets have importance for their effects to Turkey. In this study; It is discussed how the Basel II criterias in Turkey is perceived and it has been practised in Ankara after that,some suggestions have been made,evalting the conseguences of it. According to the results, the majority of SMEs do not have enough information about Basel Criterias has been determined. Who are knowledgeable in business, the available information is insufficient levels of compliance issues and will live in this process is observed.
