Abstract :The aim of the research conducted in the aviation sector is to measure how effective stress is and whether it mediates social anxiety caused by the perception of social comparison experienced by individuals working in organisations. The research sample consists of ground service personnel working in the aviation sector in the Marmara Region. The study\'s findings revealed that social comparison and job stress significantly predicted social anxiety and that job stress had a mediating role. This study, conducted in the aviation sector, can be used to improve individuals\' experiences in business life.
