Abstract :Some of the bacteria like Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus MRSA , Vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus VRSA , Vancomycinresistant Enterococcus VRE , Streptococcus pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Clostridium difficile, multidrug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis have developed many different ways to escape from the drugs’ effects. The resistance mechanisms are being investigated, but meanwhile those resistant bacteria continue to be a problem for patients and health care workers. There are some new antibacterial weapons to cope with these bacteria. The aim of this manuscript is to review current resistant bacteria and the new antibiotics developed to manage them successfully.
