Abstract :Aim: The aim of this study was order to an measuring tool develop, validity and reliability that it will allow individuals to determine their level of sexuality and sexual health-related issues information.Method: In this methodological study a questionnaire composed of 59 multiple choice questions, regarding issues related to individuals’ sexuality, was composed. Validity of question content was reviewed by an expert. Recommended corrections were made and questions determined to be unsuitable were excluded according to the expert’s opinion resulting in 40 approved questions. The questionnaire was distributed to students n=113 at Cumhuriyet University. Data was evaluated with the SPSS 14 package program. Correlation of item difficulty and item discrimination values were calculated in the statistical analysis. Cronbach alpha reliability was calculated in order to determine the internal consistency of questions in the questionnaire. Results: The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient was found to be 0.88. Conclusion: Results obtained from this study showed that the Sexual Health Questionnaire was an effective measurement tool with a high degree of reliability and validity in determining individual sexuality, and sexual health-related, issues
