Abstract :This literature-based review aims to examine how attention and problem-solving skills vary across different sports disciplines. Existing research emphasizes that sports performance is closely linked not only to physical capacities but also to cognitive processes. In particular, open-skill sports are characterized by broader attentional focus, rapid decision-making, and enhanced problem-solving abilities. This study systematically evaluated experimental, cross-sectional, and qualified literature review studies published after 2005. A comprehensive search was conducted in Web of Science, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Frontiers, and PMC databases, yielding approximately 200 records. After applying eligibility criteria, 8 studies were included in the final synthesis. The findings reveal that variables such as level of experience, type of sport, and gender significantly influence attention and problem-solving skills. Notably, athletes engaged in individual combat sports exhibited higher attentional capacity and more positive self-efficacy perceptions. The results underscore the importance of integrating cognitive skill development into training programs and provide insights for future research in sports sciences and applied cognitive psychology. Keywords : Dikkat, Problem Çözme, Spor Branşları, Bilişsel Performans
