Abstract :ÖZET Primer psoas absesi nadir görülen bir durum olup etyolojisi tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Hastalar genellikle karın ağrısı, yan ağrısı, halsizlik,ateş yüksekliği, terleme, kilo kaybı, topallayarak yürüme, bel ve bacak ağrısı şikayetleri ile başvurmaktadır. Alınan abse kültürlerinde etken olarak çeşitli mikroorganizmalar saptanabilmektedir. Sıklıkla tedavide antibiyotik ile kombine girişimsel radyoloji eşliğinde drenaj uygulanmakta, çok nadir de cerrahi operasyon gerekliliği doğabilmektedir. Anahtar kelimeler: Psoas absesi; Perkütan drenaj; Brusella ABSTRACT Primary psoas abscess is a rare disease which the etiology is not clear. Generally patients were applied different symptoms such as abdominal pain, back pain, weakness, fever, sweating, weight loss, limp walking, waist and leg pain. Various microorganisms can be detected in the abscess cultures.In most cases, treatment with antibiotics combined with interventional radiology and drainage is performed, and rarely the necessity of surgical operation may occur.
